Fuel discount scheme terms and conditions
- To qualify for the "standard" fuel discount promotion, spend a total of $40.00 in one transaction ("Qualifying Spend") at a participating Countdown, SuperValue or Fresh Choice supermarket.
- To qualify for the "limited time" fuel discount promotion, spend a total of $200.00 in one transaction ("Qualifying Spend") at a participating Countdown, SuperValue or Fresh Choice supermarket.
- Purchases at and Countdown online shopping do not qualify for the fuel discount scheme.
- On purchasing groceries totalling the Qualifying Spend, you will be issued with a fuel discount voucher ("Voucher").
- The Voucher entitles the bearer to a percentage discount on petrol, diesel or automotive LPG ("Fuel Discount") at participating Shell, Z Energy and Gull service stations. All fuel types may not be available at all participating service stations.
- The applicable fuel discount is is the fuel discount printed on the Voucher.
- The current fuel discount in respect of the "standard" fuel discount promotion is 4 cents per litre.
- The current fuel discount in respect of the "limited time" fuel discount promotion is 20 cents per litre.
- Tobacco products and smoking accessories, Christmas Club vouchers, gift vouchers and lottery tickets are not included in the Qualifying Spend.
- Vouchers can be redeemed at all participating Z, Gull and Shell service stations.
- Vouchers are not redeemable at Shell truckstop locations, Gull Drive Thru service stations and some independent Shell and Gull service stations. Participating service stations will be clearly marked with the Countdown, Fresh Choice and/or SuperValue branding.
- The Qualifying Spend and Fuel Discount may change at any time without notice.
- Each Voucher can be used for one fuel pump transaction to a maximum of 100 litres of fuel.
- The fuel discount scheme starts on 30 October 2006 and continues until notified on this website.
- Vouchers are valid for one month from the date of issue.
- Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other fuel discount promotion.
- Vouchers are not exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- The Fuel Discount does not apply to fuel card, including Shell Card, Dual Card, Fleet Card Drive Card or Cardlink OneCard/PlusOne, transactions
