Onecard Security Notice
It has recently come to our attention that an Australian caller, posing as a Onecard Customer Care Representative is calling customers and telling them that they have won a prize. This "prize" of travel vouchers can be claimed if the customer pays $149. The customer is then asked for their credit card details.
Onecard and Countdown has nothing to do with these callers or any competition of this kind. Onecard prizes are given without condition and we never ask for customers credit card details over the phone.
If you receive a call like this, hang up. If you have given your credit card details to one of these callers, please report it to the Police and your bank.
We do have genuine promotion through Onecard and you can confirm that a promotion is legitimate at anytime by contacting Customer Care on 0800 40 40 40 or asking for details at your local store.
